Chelsea Glander

I have known from a young age that I wanted to work in the veterinary field. I attended Miami Valley CTC for Veterinary Science in high school, graduating in 2014. I am currently working on my Associate’s degree for Veterinary technology through Penn Foster. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog Milo and working at High ASSpirations Miniature Donkey and Mule Farm.

I have worked in the veterinary field for close to 20 years as an assistant, technician and hospital administrator. I recently joined Friendtown and am enjoying my position as a part-time receptionist.
Also, I do pet visits with my therapy dog Gertie at local nursing homes and the VA hospital and am involved with the Master organic gardening programs at Cox and Wegerzyn Arboretums.

Noah Carman

Hey y’all, im Noah. I am a senior in the Veterinary Science program at the Upper Valley Career Center. I have been a part of the team here for 9 months, but I was pretty much raised in a vet clinic going in and helping my mom (shes one of our RVTs). Also, here recently I have been helping mom run a little rescue for the special needs puppies that need a little more attention than the others. Along with the rescue puppies we constantly have in and out of our house, we have seven pets. Of those seven pets, we have five dogs, a cat, and a chameleon.

Joyce has always had a desire for helping animals and has been working with our veterinary team since October 2014. Along with treating our regular clients, she has additional specialties in handling farm and large animals and exotic pets. She is involved with numerous animal rescue groups and has been a registered disaster responder for over 16 years. Joyce has certifications in Large Animal Rescue, swift water rescue, search and rescue and is sanctioned as a Wildland Fire Fighter to rescue animals during natural disasters. She earned her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology to further her passion to help pets not only in our clinic but also those animals in need during hoarding and abuse cases locally and nationwide.
